The kitchen as well has a large window facing your part of the garden and your entrance into the property.

The house is located on a slope on the Essen city border in Hattingen.
A small private lane leads you to your parking space.
From your flat you have a beautiful view across the valley and the hills beyond the Baldeney Lake.
You can start to jog right from your doorstep into the forest.
You can use your part of the garden ( 400 sqm ) , which has a sun-facing terrace as well as shady areas.

Because of the narrow private lane there is no through traffic.

From here you have a perfect starting point to visit the various cultural high lights of Ruhrgebiet: the world heritage Zeche Zollverein including the Ruhrmuseum and the Design Museum Red Dot. Near are the musea Folkwang, Lehmbruck, Küppersmühle,Von der Heydt, Quadrat. Or you stay with us during the international festival Ruhrtriennale to attend the various performances in their unique industrial venues. All theaters,concert halls, opera houses of Essen, Bochum,Duisburg,Gelsenkirchen are near by, as well as the Wuppertal Pina Bausch dance compagnie.

  You live in the green,you can start long walks, go jogging or cycling straight from your doorstep. The house is situated not far from an area called „Elfringhauser Switzerland“ with footpaths leading through idyllic hills.
The Baldeney Lake and the Ruhr valley cycling tour with lots of recreational and gastronomic offers are just around the corner.

You can quickly reach the middle age old towns of Hattingen and Langenberg or Essen-Kupferdreh with pubs and restaurants and large supermarkets.
